Waluigi is a character from the Super Mario video game series. His name is a combination of the Japanese word “warui” (meaning “bad” or “evil”) and “Luigi,” the name of Mario’s taller, thinner brother. Waluigi first appeared in the 2000 Nintendo 64 game “Mario Tennis” as a doubles partner for Wario. He is often portrayed as a mischievous and cunning character, with a tall and skinny physique, a purple cap, and a thin mustache.
