Gravity Falls is an American animated television series, created by Alex Hirsch (writer for Cartoon Network’s The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Disney Channel‘s Fish Hooks). The first episode aired as a preview on June 15, 2012, with the official premiere on June 29. On February 15-16, 2014, Disney Channel announced that Gravity Falls would move to Disney XD along with Wander Over Yonder, but would still air on Disney Channel as part of “Disney XD on Disney Channel”.
